Melting Lights

I was late to my hair appointment so I had to run down Armitage in front of this church.....and thought snapping at the same time would create some interesting images.

1893

One of the two bronze lions that flank the Art Institute entrance.  These guys were given as a gift to the museum in 1893, and every year wear a wreath during the Holiday season.

Ellen

Year one without you was hard. Things happened where I longed for your smart ass remarks in surgery recovery and your mothering presence to your youngest baby. Things happened where I missed your friendship to me, as we sat in your kitchen with a glass of wine or our long conversations on the phone. I can't even begin to describe your absence from Eric's life, nor will I try. Things happened and will continue to without you, but I have a feeling you will be there. And we have your stories, memories, and pictures to cherish forever.

OUR Charlie Brown Tree

Yep he's short.  And a chub-ster.  But cute in his own little way.

Taken From Inside This Very Train

Not a great quality but I loved the reflection off the building as we were zipping by....
